100% Wind Powered for a Greener Good Earth
As of Earth Day 2008, April 22 every Good Earth cafe switched to clean, Alberta-made wind power - one of the cleanest sources of energy available. Now, your purchases at Good Earth are powered by the wind. This will reduce Good Earth's environmental footprint by over 500 tonnes of CO2 per year. Bullfrog Power will provide clean, renewable power to Good Earth's 11 Calgary cafes, plus one each in Red Deer and Edmonton. Our commitment to support alternative/sustainable energy has been in action since April 2006. It's one more step toward sustainability for us as a business, for our communities and for our planet. Good Earth Continues Its Commitment to Environmental Sustainability
Good Earth has partnered with SCA Tissue, one of the 'greenest' companies on the planet. SCA Tissue (www.scatissue.com) is providing all Good Earth cafes with napkins, bathroom tissue and towels as well as hand soap. By purchasing SCA's napkins (7242 lbs), Good Earth has saved 25,347 gallons of water, 10.86 cubic yards of landfill space, 14,484 kilowatts of energy, 9,044 BTUs of energy, 1,375,98 gallons of oil, 217.26 lbs of air pollutants and 61,56 trees, thus reducing our environmental footprint. In-cafe advertising encourages customers to do their part and only take what they need to use.
SCA Tissue's environmental products and services demonstrate a record of sustainable development and social responsibility as well as a commitment to environmental stewardship.

Our customers can now get connected while enjoying great coffee and great food. Free high-speed wireless internet service is now being offered at all locations throughout Calgary, Red Deer and Edmonton (the exceptions are our hospital locations, the University of Alberta and W.R. Castell Library).
You can now come in anytime, have breakfast, lunch, dinner or just a coffee. And it's free all day long! Make a Good Earth Cafe your place - to meet, to read, to eat, to relax and visit and now to use our free wireless internet service!

Our first Okotoks cafe is open and we couldn't be more proud. The cafe is conveniently located on Southridge Drive, across the street from Canadian Tire. We have a large patio for your enjoyment.
