Espresso Menu
Our Espresso Menu
Our coffee and espresso menu is based upon the Italian tradition of espresso drinks. We have chosen the Italian tradition because of its integrity, simplicity and authenticity with respect to espresso drinks. At Good Earth, we have a respect for the quality of the coffee bean, the taste of the drink, and the art and skill of the Barista – the person trained to hand-craft your drink.

Extras
Flavoured Syrup
Any of our espresso drinks can be made with flavoured syrup. Check out our flavour selections in the café. We have sugar-free options too.
Milk and Alternatives
We offer a variety of milk options including whole, 2% and skim (non-fat). We also offer alternatives like soy, rice, and almond milks.
And now for a little Italian, just for fun!

Ristretto
A short shot of espresso where less water is used for extraction. This shot will be more intense in flavour than a lungo (long shot) because there is less water flowing through the same dose of espresso
Lungo
A long shot of espresso allows the water to have more contact with the espresso grind. This shot is more diluted in flavour than a Ristretto (short shot) because there is more water flowing through a dose of espresso
Crema
The caramel colored foamy thick layer at the top of an espresso shot. A good crema will indicate that a proper shot of espresso has been pulled.
Doppio
A double shot of espresso
